Health and Safety Representatives Training

The scope of this course is Unit Standard aligned and additionally include practices which focus on development of cognitive skills to ensure the health and safety of all business resources. Detailed health and safety principles will be addressed during this course, in order to achieve this goal.

Description

The Health and Safety Representative fulfill a vital role in the legal compliance process, provided that they are managed effectively. The Representative should be competent to assist the Health and Safety Committee to achieve the goals and objectives set by the OHS management System and OHS Act. Modern Representatives must be cognitively empowered to perform several risk control functions, as supervisors, representatives and committee members forms a solid defense against losses and injuries in the workplace.
