Detailed description of goods and/or services

  • Institute of Corporate Learning is a business in the Training industry that provides training and professional development to improve businesses and induviduals.

Payment Terms

  • To secure your registration, payment or purchase order must be done upon receipt of invoice. (not applicable if you register and pay online)

Confirmation of Registration

  • Application for registration will not be accepted/ confirmed before payment or Purchase Order is received (and applications may be treated by ICL. as having lapsed if payment is not received within 10 (ten) days of invoice).

Right of Admission

  • ICL reserves the right to refuse admission to the Event where evidence of full payment cannot be produced.

Views of Speakers at any Conference or Training Course

  • Views of speakers and facilitators are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of ICL, its employees, agents or contractors.

ICL Substitutions and Cancellations

  • Speakers and topics are confirmed at the time of publishing of the programme, but ICL reserves the right to substitute, alter or cancel advertised speakers and/ or topics in appropriate circumstances (and will give notice of such substitutions or alterations on its web-site and or in writing as soon as possible, having regard to the circumstances).

  • If ICL cancels an Event, delegate payments at the date of cancellation will be credited to a future ICL Event (such credit is available for up to one year from the date of cancellation).

  • If ICL postpones an Event, delegate payments at the postponement date will be credited towards the rescheduled Event. If the delegate is unable to attend the rescheduled Event, the delegate will receive a full credit of amounts paid up to the date of postponement which may only be redeemed against the cost of any future ICL Event (and such credit will be available for one year from the date of postponement).

  • Notwithstanding any other clause in this terms and Condition, the applicant shall be entitled to terminate this agreement unconditionally by a written notice 7 days before the commencement of the course, failure to cancel the application will result in the full amount for the course will be due and payable by the applicant and failure to pay same will result in legal action being taken to recover the amount and the applicant will be liable for legal costs.

  • No cash refunds whatsoever are available for cancellations or postponements.

Customer Privacy policy

  • Institute of Corporate Learning shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from: http://www.polity.org.za/attachment.php?aa_id=3569.

Payment options accepted

  • Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express Cards or by bank transfer into the (Institute of Corporate Learning) bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.

Card acquiring and security

  • Card transactions will be acquired for Institute of Corporate Learning via Paypal who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. Paypal uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paypal.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

Customer details separate from card details

  • Customer details will be stored by Institute of Corporate Learning separately from card details which are entered by the client on Paypal’s secure site. For more details on Paypal refer to www.paypal.co.za.

Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency

  • The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

Responsibility

  • Institute of Corporate Learning takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

Country of domicile

  • This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Institute of Corporate Learning chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature,

Variation

  • Institute of Corporate Learning may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
